I have been doing black friday for the past few years and I am so in LOVE with it. My mom and sister go with me every year and we score some great deals. If you want to join in on the fun this is what I recommend:
1. Put on a pair of running shoes- this serves 2 purposes, one is for comfort--because you will be on your feet for hours--and the other is for speed--if you want that deal you may need to do lots of speed walking.
2. Wear layers-the morning starts off freezing and you need some serious warm clothes, then at about 9 its warms up and you can start shedding layers. By 11 you can hang out in short sleeves.
3. Scout the ads out and make a plan and a schedule--THIS IS A MUST!
Have Fun!
Oh and this year for black friday Josh and I spent more than we ever have because we needed stuff for the house. We managed to get 2 TV's, a vacuum, a steam mop, sheets, down comforter, towels, bath mats and some clothes too. Thanks to my mom and sister for always making black friday so much fun!

Thoughts on Turning 25
So I am all about birthdays- a day designated where people spoil you and make you feel special-what's not to love. However, the thought of turning 25 made me feel old ( even thought its not) and then I concluded this: I love where my life is at for being 25. I have my B.A. degree and a job that I adore, I am happily married to a husband who has a good job and will finish school this next year and we are moving into our first house. So I decided I feel ok about being 25. It's age 26 that scares me because that means I need to start having babies...yikes! I can't put off growing up forever. I had a fabulous birthday and I will post all about it when I stop being lazy and get the pictures loaded to my computer.

Thank You Bleach Wipes!
The downside of working with kidos is there are germs everywhere! We have already had a few students at my school with the swine flu and kids are getting sick left and right with colds. Last year as a first year teacher I got sick constantly, but this year I have wisened up :). Thats right! I use bleach wipes everyday before I eat my lunch and afterschool. I wipe down the door handles, light switch, computer, desk....and so far I have steered clear of any sickness. So I will keep my fingers crossed that I can make to Christmas Break with no flu bugs. Thank you bleach wipes for saving me from the creepy kid germs! What is your trick to staying well during the winter?
